Jewish Youth Association of Sweden Leadership Seminar | Sharon Vos

Sharon Vos organized a leadership seminar weekend for the Jewish Youth Association of Sweden. Over the weekend, participants were offered a smörgåsbord of lectures, workshops and sessions within leadership and Jewish organizational skills. They were also provided experiences where they could learn more about the organization as well as how to run their own boards and local unions in terms of leadership and operational management. The participants also heard two sessions about EUJS and WJC to introduce the participants to the world of international Jewish organizations and give them a glance into what more lies beyond the Swedish borders. In addition to the educational sessions, there were also social activities such as Shabbat dinner and hangout as well as a Havdalah party to teach the Swedish youth about Jewish culture and tradition, but also to foster and encourage social networking, which was very much needed after October 7th.
