Yael was born and raised within the Jewish Community of Madrid, and she is actively involved in the global Jewish community. Currently, she holds the position of vice president in Madrid for FEJJE, an organization dedicated to strengthening the Jewish identity of youth in Spain. Yael takes great pride in being an Alumni of JAcademy 2019-2020, an experience that broadened her perspective on Jewish life worldwide and provided her with the opportunity to intern at the Claims Conference in Berlin, where she conducted research on Holocaust education in Spanish-speaking countries. Yael is currently pursuing a Dual Degree in International Relations and Business Management at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid. Additionally, she participated in the Erasmus Program at Luiss University in Rome.
