Shay Rubinstein has been highly involved in Jewish public diplomacy over the past decade. He is currently a member of DiploAct France, an NGO that counters antisemitism on campuses. Before, Shay was the Israeli Shaliach (Emissary) of Howard County, MD. He launched the Israel Campus Engagement Fellowship, which trains teens to become future Jewish leaders on campus. Additionally, he was appointed as a Young Ambassador by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and represented Israel in advocacy delegations to France and the UK. He also served as a commander and trainer in the IDF. Rubinstein is a Diplomacy and Chinese honors track student at Reichman University and Sciences Po Paris (on student exchange).
