Building a strong Jewish community for young people that is inclusive, diverse and open-minded is something that Sharon Vos has dreamt of doing ever since she was young. Her interest in advocating for Jewish life has led her to engage in the Swedish Jewish Youth Union where she currently sits her second term in the national board as the treasurer. Aside from her activism in her free time, she studies medicine and will be graduating from medicine school this summer. Her passion lies in global health and international work. She serves as the Vice President for International Affairs in the International Federation of Medical Students Association (IFMSA), representing Swedish medical students abroad. Through this, she hopes to live by Pikuach Nefesh (the Jewish value of saving a life) and Tikkun Olam (do good). Sharon believes in a strong Jewish representation and creating a space where Jews can live freely and openly about their identity. She wants to be a part of setting the foundations for the generations to come, L'dor Vador.
