As a Persian-American born and raised on Long Island, New York, Nora Monasheri graduated from Binghamton University with majors in Finance and Management Information Systems and is returning to receive her master's in business administration. Nora served as a StandWithUs Emerson Fellow and the American Sephardi Federation's Sephardi House Fellow and is a SUNY Global Affairs Scholar. She will be serving her third year on Chabad E-Board, founded an internship with the President of her university, and was elected to be her school’s BU Council Representative. In her spare time, she loves to read, meet new people, and share the beauty of Persian cuisine and the rich history.
