Erin Dodo, the current Chairperson of the Western Cape branch of the South African Union of Jewish Students, is a passionate, driven, and determined young mind currently studying toward her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science at the University of Cape Town. Having taken part in a number of leadership roles in her community, including her seat at the Cape Jewish Board of Deputies and the South African Zionist Federation, she has also held key positions at UCT; as the Deputy- Secretary General of the UCT Students' Representative Council from the end of 2022 to 2023. Erin has a keen and vested interest in global and diaspora politics. As she was born in New York, Erin has a passion for American politics- partnered with her experience growing up in South Africa- bringing an intriguing, unique voice to the table. Grabbing every opportunity she can, Erin will not throw away her shot.
