Emma is an Argentinean-Canadian sophomore at The University of Winnipeg studying Political Science and Psychology. After many years of local Jewish community involvement and graduating high school, she took a gap year to serve as BBYO’s 77th Anita M. Perlman International N’siah (President) and spent the year travelling through 100+ cities across the world meeting, mentoring, and working alongside thousands of Jewish teens. Emma spends her summers working as a senior staff at her local Jewish summer camp and throughout the year continues to be involved in global Jewry as a BBYO alumni. Most recently, she has taken on a new project working for One More Candle, honouring the memory of the millions of children who were lost in the Shoah. Emma currently serves as a member of Hillel International’s Student Cabinet, bringing a focus to combatting antisemitism and fostering community on college campuses across the globe. She is looking forward to learning from the Fellowship and bringing knowledge and skills back to her community.
