Emma Günsberger is a twenty-one-year-old union leader. She is the current president of Czech Union of Jewish Students (ČUŽM). In 2021 her Union was awarded the title “Developing Union of the Year” by EUJS.
She graduated from the Lauder schools in Prague, where she got involved in Jewish activism. For three years, Emma was part of event management team of student conference at Lauder schools “In Medias Res”. She also collaborated on the “Never Again Right Now” campaign. She has been an active contribution to EUJS and WUJS seminars, events and congresses. In addition, she wrote articles for EUJS’s magazine “The Bridge” and JöH’s magazine “Noodnik”.
Nowadays, Emma is in third year of Middle Eastern studies at Charles University in Prague, her field of focus is Persian and Jewish studies.
