Mensaje de RSL por las fiestas judías a las Comunidades del WJC

On this Rosh Hashanah eve, we pause in the aching world around us. We take a moment to reflect on months of turmoil and tragedy to consider: What do we expect for the coming year? What can we do together and as individuals to ensure that we are building a better world and a better future?

I am honored, day after day, week after week, to lead this incredible network of Jewish communities that comprise the World Jewish Congress. We know that we are stronger together than alone. It is through our shared sense of commitment to the Jewish people - past, present and future - that we overcome any crisis and celebrate every positive development.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected each and every one of us. But I have been proud to witness the partnerships between Jewish communities around the world, as you have made it your mission, perhaps more in recent years than ever, to support the individuals and families that each of your communities represents.

We have faced this new reality together. And together, we look forward to a better and New Year.

On behalf of the World Jewish Congress, I wish each and every one of you a year that brings good health, happiness and hope.

Shanna Tova!
