Yitz Applbaum is a Co-Founder and Partner at MizMaa Ventures. After selling his company to Bank of America in 1991, he became a Senior Vice President overseeing the e-Ventures group. He is now an advisor to many organizations and individuals, including Eight VC Partners and the Saudi Minister of Communications, Information Technology, and Space. Yitz also is a philanthropist and board member of The Western Wall Heritage Foundation, the Republican Jewish Coalition, and the Asia Society. He serves as a Trustee of Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden and is the founding board member of Him for Her for Him (HHH), which assists in the placement of women on corporate boards of directors. Based in Silicon Valley, Yitz is married with three children and collects kosher wine and single malt whisky.
Dr. Yossi Beilin is an Israeli politician best known for his pivotal role in the Oslo Accords. He also initiated the Geneva Initiative, an unofficial proposal for a final-status agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. Dr. Beilin has served in various ministerial roles including Minister of Justice and was instrumental in founding the Birthright Israel program. After retiring from politics, he became a business consultant and continues to engage in public discourse through his writings and advocacy.

Gordon Sondland was appointed U.S. Ambassador to the European Union in 2018 by President Donald Trump and served until 2020, overseeing key issues such as trade, energy, and national security. He previously held roles on Governor Ted Kulongoski's transition team and the Commission for White House Fellowships under President George W. Bush, as well as serving as Chairman of the Portland Art Museum. Sondland is also the Founder and CEO of Provenance Hotels, a national chain of boutique lifestyle hotels, and currently serves on the advisory boards of U.S. Bancorp and Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy.
Liel Leibovitz is an Israeli-American journalist, author, and media critic, currently serving as the editor-at-large for Tablet Magazine and the host of several of its widely followed podcasts. Born in Tel Aviv, he immigrated to the United States in 1999 and later earned his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 2007. In addition to his work in journalism, Liel has written several notable books that explore topics ranging from cultural criticism to Jewish thought. He is also a scholar in the field of video game studies.
Alan Solow is the founder of Grover Strategies, where he leverages decades of experience to help clients navigate public-facing challenges with personalized advice. He served as a National Co-Chair for the Obama-Biden 2012 campaign and as an advisor to President Obama on Middle East issues. Ranked as the world’s 11th-most influential Jew by the Jerusalem Post, Solow has held leadership positions in several major Jewish organizations, including serving as Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois and cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was President of the Harvard Law School Forum.
Dani Dayan is the Chairman of Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center. Before this role, he served as Israel's Consul General in New York and was the Chairman of the YESHA Council. Dani also founded and led Elad Software Systems Ltd. as Chairman and CEO. Gabe Groisman is a Jewish community leader and former Mayor of Bal Harbour, Florida, known for his strong stance against antisemitism and his efforts to build bridges between Israel and the United States. As Mayor, he pioneered the nation’s first municipal anti-BDS ordinance and codified a uniform definition of antisemitism. He is also a partner at LSN Partners, focusing on government relations and supporting Israeli tech companies, while frequently speaking on Jewish and Israel-related issues at international forums.
David Harris served as CEO of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) from 1990 to 2022. Throughout his 50-year career, he has been actively involved in foreign policy, national security, interfaith and interethnic relations, social policy, higher education, and Jewish community affairs, both domestically and globally. The late Israeli President Shimon Peres called David "the foreign minister of the Jewish people."
Dara Horn is the award-winning author of six books, including People Love Dead Jews: Reports from a Haunted Present. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and The Atlantic, among other publications. Dara has lectured extensively on Jewish literature, history, and culture across North America, Israel, and Australia. She also was a member of Harvard’s antisemitism advisory group and testified before Congress.
Jarrod Bernstein is an attorney and political advisor with extensive experience in government relations, crisis management, and strategic communications. He has held senior roles in the Obama and Bloomberg administrations, where he coordinated responses to major crises and advised on Jewish community engagement.
Eric Goldstein, a longtime Jewish community leader, became UJA-Federation’s CEO in 2014 after a successful career as a partner at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Jonathan Goldstein is the co-founder and CEO of Cain International, a multinational investment firm managing $14 billion in assets. He serves as a director of Chelsea Football Club and previously chaired the Jewish Leadership Council in the UK. Jonathan is deeply involved in philanthropic causes and was a vocal critic of Jeremy Corbyn.
Michael Makovsky has been President and CEO of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) since 2013, focusing on U.S. defense and national security in the Middle East. He has worked on U.S.-Israel defense ties and U.S. policy toward Iran, Syria, Iraq, Gaza, and the Persian Gulf. Makovsky holds a Ph.D. from Harvard, an MBA from Columbia, and a B.A. from the University of Chicago.
