A court in Bochum (Germany) has condemned Claus Cremer, a politician of the neo-Nazi National Democratic Party (NPD) in Germany, to one year in jail for publicly saying that Jews supported the sexual abuse of children and that for this reason, he was against the building of new synagogues. The court said that Cremer's speech was to cause hatred and that he had clearly intended to offend and discredit Jews. The jail sentence was suspended.
