Israel Police have arrested four right-wing revelers seen dancing in the so-called “wedding of hate” video - including the groom.
The video footage from the Jerusalem wedding, which was broadcast on Channel 10 last week, shows religious-looking men dancing at the wedding brandishing guns, knives and what appears to be a firebomb. One of the revelers is seen stabbing a photograph of the Palestinian baby Ali Dawabshe, who was burned to death along with his parents in a firebomb attack in the village of Duma in July.
The wedding guests can also be heard in the video singing words to a song that includes a verse from Judges 16:28, quoting Samson as saying: “Let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.” Instead of Philistines, the guests chant “Palestinians.”
The wedding video was condemned from across the political and religious spectrum.
