Canada's Prime Minister Paul Martin has condemned anti-Semitism and other forms of racism at a dinner marking the inauguration of the Canadian Council for Israel and Jewish Advocacy, a new political umbrella group. “We must respond to manifestations of anti-Semitism in whatever form it takes with collective and unequivocal condemnation,” he said, noting that fellow party leaders Stephen Harper of the Conservatives, Gilles Duceppe of the 'Bloc Québécois' and Jack Layton of the NDP were also in the audience to show support for this message.
