The Night of the Murdered Poets

The night of August 12-13, 1952 has gone down in Jewish history as the Night of the Murdered Poets. 13 prominent Jewish intellectuals were executed in the notorious Lubyanka prison in Moscow, falsely accused by the Soviet Union of espionage, treason, and many other crimes, simply because they were Jewish.
