Chaim Soutine: The life of a Jewish expressionist painter

Jewish painter Chaim Soutine was one of the most avant-garde artists of the 20th century, a major contributor to the expressionist art movement in Paris. Soutine died in August 1943 of health complications after he went into hiding when France came under Nazi occupation.
