Flashback: MK Ruth Calderon delivers maiden insightful speech

In February 2013, during her Maiden Knesset speech, MK Ruth Calderon delivered an impassioned plea for the widespread study of Jewish and Hebrew texts as the basis for a new Hebrew culture. Last week, Calderon was chosen to be the new president of the World Zionist Organization.
