Holocaust survivors who built Israel: Aharon Appelfeld

Aharon Appelfeld, born on February 16, 1932, was one of the greatest Israeli writers. A child survivor of the Holocaust, his writings are shaped by the trials of a Jewish identity. He passed away in 2018, leaving behind an incredible legacy.
