The World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) is a global, democratically elected network that unites and represents Jewish student unions worldwide. Founded in 1924, WUJS empowers Jewish students and young people, strengthens Jewish life on campus and beyond, and serves as their collective voice in the international arena.
As President, Josh Cohen leads efforts to connect, represent, and support Jewish students and young people worldwide. His role includes overseeing WUJS’ operations, engaging with its member unions and ensuring Jewish students are represented in key global institutions. WUJS also plays a vital role in building bridges between Jewish students in the Diaspora and Israel.
At a time of growing challenges on campuses, WUJS’ presence in global forums is more critical than ever. Under Josh’s leadership, WUJS remains committed to ensuring Jewish students have a strong voice, building resilient communities, and supporting its member unions in their work.
