Shelly Wolkowicz is the CEO of the World Union of Jewish Students and a dynamic leader at the intersection of policy, strategy, and global Jewish engagement. She holds an International MBA with honors from The Hebrew University, Peking University, and SciencesPo Paris. She has held key government roles, including positions at the Israeli Ministry of Transportation, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and most notably, as Israel’s delegate for STEM issues at the OECD, Paris.
Shelly is deeply involved in influential Israeli and Jewish organizations, and inter alia serves as a Jewish Diplomat for the WJC, and is a member of Forum Dvora. Following the October 7 attack, she played a pivotal role in assisting Israel, leading a groundbreaking initiative that was recently recognized with a presidential award.
Currently based in Tel Aviv, Shelly is fluent in multiple languages, a competitive runner, and a passionate advocate for impact-driven initiatives.
