World Jewish Congress

Leadership of the Jewish community both in Australia and overseas for many decades including:
1. World Jewish Congress: since 2015 Co-Chair of WJC Policy Council; former Vice President; currently Chair of Credentials; Commission; member of Budget and Finance Commission;
2. Conference for Material Claims Against Germany Inc: Director (since 2009); elected Member of the Leadership Council (since 2014);
3. Executive Council of Australian Jewry: Hon Secretary, Vice President, President (2007-2010 and 2013- 2016), Immediate Past President and, since 2019, Deputy President;
4. New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies: Hon Secretary, Vice President and President (1978-1982) and since 1986 Honorary Life Member;
5. Moriah College a leading Jewish K-12 school: Vice President and President (1989-1996); since 2012 Chairman of Trustees;
2014 Algemeiner 100 most influential Jews.
Awarded Order of Australia awards in 1988 and 2000 in recognition of service to Jewry.
