Beatrice Kricheli is a lawyer with extensive experience in international affairs. She held different positions within the Austrian Ministry for European and International Affairs and gained additional experience through her work at an international organization. Currently, she continues to work in the field of diplomacy.
From a young age, she was actively involved in Jewish youth work and has remained dedicated to community engagement ever since. To this day Beatrice continues to volunteer within the Jewish community of Vienna and serves as a member of the board.
Since 2012 she has chaired the Youth and Sports Commission of the Jewish community of Vienna, which serves as the umbrella organization for all Jewish youth and student organizations in Vienna, representing their voices and interests. In 2014 Beatrice launched the dialogue program "LIKRAT", now a flagship program of the Jewish community’s educational and outreach efforts. As director of LIKRAT, Beatrice focuses on breaking down prejudices, promoting dialogue and equipping young people with the tools to actively stand up against antisemitism. She strongly believes in the power of personal encounters and continuously works to develop LIKRAT as a platform for meaningful youth engagement within and beyond the Jewish community.
For over a decade Beatrice has been deeply dedicated to strengthening the Jewish youth and expanding activities and initiatives with a particular focus on Israel, Holocaust Remembrance, combating antisemitism and young leadership programs. She is also a member of the WJC Jewish Diplomatic Corps where she has been active since 2022.
