The condition of an Israeli teenager injured in a rocket attack carried out by Gaza terrorists on a school bus in southern Israel last week has worsened. Daniel Viflic's condition was upgraded on Tuesday to “extremely critical and life-threatening”, according to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
Five days after an anti-tank missile from the Gaza Strip hit the school bus traveling near Kibbutz Sa'ad, located close to Israel's border with Gaza, Viflic is still in a deep coma and unresponsive, showing no sign of brain activity, the Israeli news service ‘Ynet’ reported. All medical measures reportedly have been exhausted. Daniel Viflic suffered severe head trauma and was given emergency CPR at the scene of last week's attack. The bus driver, the only other occupant of the bus at the time of the attack, suffered only light leg injuries.
