A court in Moscow has handed a one-year suspended sentence to Viktor Korchagin, the chief editor of the magazine "Rusich", after finding him guilty of inciting religious hatred. The prosecutor’s office had opened a criminal case against Korchagin on the grounds of a complaint from war invalid Boris Stambler. He said the magazine published anti-Semitic materials instigating religious and ethnic hatred. An examination by experts of articles published in "Rusich" came to the conclusion that Stambler's accusations were mostly true.
