Protests outside Arafat's Paris hospital

Around 50 Jewish demonstrators have protested outside the hospital near Paris where Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat is undergoing treatment. The demonstrators, who carried Israeli flags and anti-Arafat banners, attempted to enter hospital grounds early Monday evening before riot police pushed them away. According to a police spokesmen, the demonstrators belonged to the Jewish Defense League, an extremist group. No arrests were made.
