German prosecutors are demanding an eight-year prison sentence for a neo-Nazi leader who allegedly planned a bomb attack at a ceremony for a new Jewish center in Munich. Martin Wiese, a high-profile extremist, and three are charged with being members of a neo-Nazi organization known as "Kameradschaft Süd". Prosecutors say the group, led by Wiese, planned to explode a bomb at a ceremony to lay the foundation stone for a new Jewish center in Munich in November 2003. Federal prosecutor Bernd Steudl told the court Wiese's goal was to overthrow Germany's democracy, with the attack just the first stage of his campaign. Two of the accused have testified the group had discussed an attack. Wiese denies the charges. A verdict was expected on Wednesday.
