An unknown gunman fired at a Norwegian synagogue, causing damage but no casualties. Police said they were investigating anti-Semitism as a possible motive for the attack early Sunday on Oslo’s Mosaic Religious Community Synagogue. Several bullets struck the building’s facade but there were no immediate leads on suspects. Norway’s Jewish community, numbering around 1,500, has been on alert for anti-Semitic violence since one of its members was assaulted and the synagogue was vandalized in July and August.
