A synagogue in Kiev has been vandalized for the second time in three months. Last Thursday, vandals painted a large swastika on the wall of the Brodsky Synagogue. In early December, several of the historic building’s windows had been shattered. The synagogue became a focus of wide public and media attention late last year, when it provided food and shelter to participants in the mass protests in the Ukrainian capital that resulted in the revote in the country’s presidential election.
