A 21-year-old member of a group of Jews from Lithuania, which was on its way to the Berlin Jewish museum, has been assaulted by 19-year-old Palestinian. Berlin police said that the attacker had shouted abuse at the Lithuanian tourist and then hurt him by hitting his abdomen. The man was arrested. He has already been known to police for committing other violent offences. Meanwhile in another xenophobic incident in Germany, a 25-year-old African-born man was insulted and then hit by a beer bottle by three youngsters in the city of Magdeburg. Two of them were arrested, the third is still on the run. It is still unclear if the three men belong to an extremist right-wing group.
