A Holocaust survivor and resistance fighter has been murdered in Australia. Katherine Schweitzer, 81, was strangled last week. Her body was discovered in a trash bin near her apartment in an exclusive neighborhood of Sydney. A special task force has been established to investigate the case of Schweitzer, who was active in the Hungarian resistance. Among the mourners at her funeral on Tuesday was Israel's chief rabbi Yona Metzger, who is in Australia this week on a private visit. Police are investigating the possibility that her murder was a thrill killing as there appears to be no other motive.
