Senator Hillary Clinton has told the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) and Hillel’s Spitzer Forum that she supported a United Nations resolution against international anti-Semitism. “We can track the increase in anti-Semitism around the world, and we need to get people on the record once and for all on where they stand,” Clinton told the JCPA at its plenum in Washington on Tuesday. The New York senator also expressed the need for the United States of America to put pressure on Iran and Syria, and for the UN to do more to fight the genocide in Darfur, Sudan. Clinton also said she was concerned about budget cuts and their effect on social policy, including faith-based programs.
