The graves of the German writers Bertolt Brecht, Heinrich Mann and Johannes R. Becher in a central Berlin cemetery have been desecrated for the second time within a month. The perpetrators sprayed yellow Stars of David onto the tombstones, reminiscent of the Nazis' use of yellow stars to stigmatize Jews. Similar graffiti were discovered on two other sites in central Berlin. Anti-Semitic acts have almost become a daily routine for Berlin's police in recent months, with desecrations of Jewish and Red Army memorials among the many acts. So far, police have not received any information as to who could be behind the acts.
