Brazilian Jews and Catholics are to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the publication of a Vatican document that markedly improved relations between Catholics and Jews. 'Nostra Aetate' will be celebrated with a free choir concert on Sunday at a São Paulo theater, sponsored by the Brazilian National Conference of Bishops and Brazil’s largest Jewish congregation, the 2,000-family-strong Congregacão Israelita Paulista. Jewish and Catholic officials from Brazil and the Vatican are expected to attend.
