B’nai Brith Canada is to file a complaint with the Quebec Human Rights Commission against Concordia University in Montreal for un-inviting former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak to it's campus. The Jewish group is concerned that "an atmosphere of intimidation and hostility against Jewish students still prevails at Concordia.” School officials say they prevented Barak from speaking at the university recently because they could not guarantee his safety. In 2002, pro-Palestinian students rioted at Concordia, leading to the cancellation of a speech by another former Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
