The former "Big Brother" contestant Nelson Russell has apologized to Australia's Jewish community after being evicted from the reality TV series. The 23-year-old army reservist from Brisbane was kicked out of the house on Tuesday, along with fellow contestant Constance Hall, one week earlier than the first evictions were due to take place. The pair were found to have lied to Big Brother about their relationship status, with both saying they were single when they had partners outside the house. "I regret that," Nelson said of his calling Big Brother a `Jew' while in the house. Nelson's slur came after Big Brother refused to provide Constance with a replacement nose ring when she lost hers in a game. "I truly didn't mean to offend anyone. It was an off-the-cuff comment and if I could take anything back, I definitely would take that back," Nelson said. "I was just trying to say that he (Big Brother) was stingy but I regret that."
