WJC Secretary General Designate Dan Diker, and Brig. Gen. (Res) Yossi Kuperwasser, Director General of Israel's Ministry of Strategic Affairs and former Chief of the IDF's Intelligence Assessment Division, assessed the policy issues raised by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama in Washington DC. They provided context for the debate over Israel's future borders and the ongoing attempt by the Palestinian leadership to win UN endorsement of a unilaterally declared Palestinian state this coming September. Brig. Gen. (res.) Kuperwasser also addressed the crucial issue of defensible borders for Israel.
