Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has again attacked Israel, predicting the demise of the "Zionist regime." Speaking at a UN development conference in Doha, Ahmadinejad said: "While expressing sympathy with Palestinians and warning professional Zionist criminals, I declare that the Zionist regime has reached the end of the road and more crimes cannot save it. In near future the concepts of aggression and Zionism will be wiped from the world," he told the conference, which is seeking ways of limiting the impact on developing countries of the global financial crisis.
Earlier this month, Iran warned it had entered an intensified "intelligence war" with the Jewish state after it executed an Iranian telecoms salesman for spying for the Mossad. Iran said it has also dismantled a network of Israel spies, vowing to seek the death penalty against the three men arrested.
