Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn was heckled by demonstrators outside a fund-raising dinner hosted by the Jewish National Fund (JNF) in the Scottish city of Glasgow. About 150 pro-Palestinian demonstrators jeered Hawn as she arrived at the event on Sunday night. Some 500 guests attended the dinner organized by JNF Scotland. The protest was organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, which objects to the JNF policy of only renting Israeli land that it owns to Jews. Hawn was standing in for actor Michael Douglas, who had canceled his appearance last month, citing the then strike by Hollywood writers as his reason. The JNF was founded in 1901 and has branches throughout the world.
