The 10th CRIF National Convention was held on Sunday November 17, at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, with around 1500 participants.

Dozens of debates and workshops took place during the day around the theme of “A Fractured France: Can we unite against antisemitism?” Renowned experts accompanied the participants and facilitated each roundtable.

Two-plenaries framed the day. The first began with a speech by Valérie Pécresse, President of the Regional Council of Île de France. Minister of National Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer, also took the floor. A discussion focusing on “France, one and divisible?” moderated by Yves Thréard, Deputy Editor of Le Figaro, followed.  Jean-Michel Blanquer, Jérôme Fourquet, Director of Opinion and Corporate Strategies of the Polling Institute IFOP and author of The French Archipelago, as well as Martin Hersch, Director-General of the APHP and President of the Institute of Engagement, brought their perspectives on the subject.

The second, the closing plenary session, featured remarks by Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, Francis Kalifat, President of CRIF, and Christophe Castaner, Minister of Interior. CRIF also had the pleasure of welcoming Boris Cyrulnik, neuro-psychiatrist, for a lively discussion moderated by Alexis Lacroix, Editor of Judaïques FM and Radio J.
