Sharon Esther Knafelman is a third year Fiat Lux Scholar at UC Berkeley studying political science. She was previously a summer intern at the World Jewish Congress. She is the VP of PR for SSI at Berkeley, a BreakGlass Ambassador, and a member of the Beyachad slate. She is also an ICC campus fellow. She has led all of the Pro-Israel rallies on her campus and has appeared on the news and news publications various times for her activism. This includes Fox News, Channel 12 Israel, CBS, NBC, The Free Press, and many more. Last summer she was part of a delegation of students across the US leading the fight against Antisemitism on their campuses that were invited to the Knesset in Israel. She met with various Knesset members, personally spoke with Speaker of the Knesset Ohana, and also met PM Netanyahu. She was invited for a live interview on Channel 12 Israel to discuss what was happening on UC Berkeley's campus and the conditions Jewish students are facing in America. She is passionate about ensuring a strong and vibrant environment for Jewish students.
