Einav Tsach is a third-year student at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is president of his university’s Israeli-American Student Association and is an incoming Goldman Fellow with the American Jewish Committee. As a student leader, Einav has been deeply involved in advocacy for the Jewish and Israeli community. Since Oct. 7, Einav held roundtable discussions with senior administrators in his university, testified on its Task Force on Antisemitism and Islamophobia, and helped organize vigils and other events against antisemitism on campus. He’s also authored op-eds and essays on Israel and antisemitism in The Jerusalem Post, Haaretz, Tablet Magazine, and more. He has organized campaigns with Jewish and allied student leaders to defeat two BDS resolutions in student government, worked with a coalition of DMV area students to hold a Rally Against Campus Antisemitism near the George Washington University encampment, and met with members of Congress to advocate for legislation to combat Jewish hate. He was recently the recipient of the Levenson Family Defender of Democracy Award from the Anti-Defamation League. Einav is an Israeli immigrant to the United States. Studying journalism, international business, and Jewish studies, he hopes to join the media field as an entrepreneur.
