Simona Balagula is a student at Georgetown University, majoring in International Politics with a concentration in International Security and a certificate in International Business Diplomacy. She has been involved with Jewish organizations, including Club Z and StandWithUs, and leads the Georgetown Israel Alliance and Georgetown’s chapter of TAMID. Additionally, Simona is part of several on-campus research initiatives through which she explores her interests in national security, international trade, and policymaking. Simona is passionate about advocating for the Jewish community and hopes to use her education and experiences as a Lauder fellow to support initiatives to combat antisemitism and all strains of hate in any form they exist.
