Noemi Di Segni is the President of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities since July 2016. Born in Jerusalem, 1969, has served in the Israeli army, living in Rome with her family, she is actively committed to community heritage preservation, cultural development, language, religious education and freedom. She has fostered through networking and civil and institutional alliances the combat against reemergence of antisemitism and law enforcement, appointed as member of the relevant governmental committees.
She is currently member of the ExCom of the World Jewish Congress, European Jewish Congress, Interreligious observatory for the fight against violence on women, national Interreligious Forum (Tavolo Interreligioso), Italian Association for emergency aid Yad-Le-Yad, National Foundation for promotion of Jewish culture, National Foundation for preservation of Jewish cultural heritage, Holocaust Remembrance Foundation Museum of Rome.
She has a double university degree in business economics and law with a specialization in the European studies on financial oversight. Her professional experience has matured within the national and international bodies representing professional accountants and auditors. She serves today as head of the President office of Consiglio Nazionale dei Dottori Commercialisti e degli Esperti Contabili.
