Relationships between communities, especially faith communities, are not a given but are the result of actions that build the necessary trust amongst people over time. These bonds need to be cultivated and can not to be taken for granted. WJC has embodied this spirit in its global interfaith work for decades.

Acknowledging the special nature of the relationship between Muslims and Jews, and based on successful past experiences particularly of the Latin American Jewish Congress in organizing joint events with the Muslim community in the region, for the first time, WJC is partnering with the Muslim World League in organizing a Muslim and Jewish worldwide celebration of Ramadan.

The forum aims to promote dialogue and collaboration between Jewish parliamentarians; to support the principles of democracy, the cause of human rights, and the rule of law; and to combat racism, antisemitism, xenophobia, terrorism, and Holocaust denial by those means available to legislators and government ministers. The ICJP strives for the creation of an enduring peace in the Middle East and works to protect the welfare of Jews and Jewish communities worldwide.
