WJC Supports the Jewish Community of Ukraine │ A Look Back After Two-Years of War

Following the outbreak of war between Russia and Ukraine, more than 6.3 million refugees arrived in bordering countries. The World Jewish Congress joined the effort to mobilize our affiliated Jewish communities and provide them with resources to support those in need. We have raised more than $2 million to-date.

For two-years the Jewish community of Ukraine, through the VAAD and Jewish Confederation of Ukraine (JCU), has worked on the ground to support those impacted by the conflict. They have provided psychological support, material aid, relocation of civilians in war-torn areas, and, even, matzah for Pesach.

Through this short-video, we take a look back at our collective journey since the outbreak of this human-tragedy
