Murdered Angels: A young woman’s musical tribute to her late grandmother who escaped Kristallnacht

On the night of November 9-10, 1938, the Nazis carried out a wave of violent pogroms against Jews, in what became known as Kristallnacht. Erica Schwartz Spitzer was nine years old at the time when she fled with her family.

Today, her granddaughter’s song, “Murdered Angels,” is a tribute to her memory, and to those who perished in the Holocaust.
