A Life of Service: From Medicine to Jewish Leadership
Oleg Rogatnikov was born 31 July 1975, married, has 5 children.
Dedicated Jewish community leader with extensive experience in communal, governmental, and humanitarian affairs. Passionate about preserving Jewish heritage, fostering interfaith dialogue, and advocating for Jewish communities on the global stage. A medical professional and organizational director with a strong track record of leadership, advocacy and service.
His professional background started after the graduation from Vitebsk State Medical University – Residency in Urology (2001). His expertise in medicine extends beyond clinical practice as the Director of Clinic of Health LLC and he becomes the director of the Association of Independent Pharmacies.
His Communal Development story started in 2013. As a Vice Chairman of Vitebsk State Jewish Non-Religious Community Oleg Rogatnikov led cultural and social initiatives to strengthen Jewish life. At the same period as a Vice Chairman of Vitebsk State Jewish Religious Community he supported Jewish education, synagogue life, and religious traditions, expanding community engagement and participation.
As Chairman of the Union of Belarusian Jewish Organizations and Communities (2021), he has led efforts to unite Jewish institutions, defend religious rights, and foster international cooperation. As a Board Member of the Republican Multicultural Interfaith Commission (2021 – Present) he promotes understanding and collaboration between Jewish and other religious communities.
Whether in government forums, interfaith councils, or global Jewish gatherings, he stands as a voice for our people, advocating for security, education, and communal development. Being a Board Member of the Republican Humanitarian Aid Department (2021 – Present) he oversees relief efforts to support vulnerable Jewish populations and ensure fair distribution of humanitarian aid in Belarus.
His goal as a candidate for Election at the 17th WJC Plenary Assembly is to ensure that all Jewish communities worldwide are resilient, protected, and thriving. He will work to:
Strengthen global Jewish unity and cooperation.
Advocate for Israel, Jewish rights and combat antisemitism.
Expand Jewish education and youth engagement.
Enhance humanitarian aid and community welfare programs.
