The World Jewish Congress has earned the highest possible 4-STAR rating from Charity Navigator—the independent financial watchdog. For the second year in a row, the WJC has been awarded this premier designation from the largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities. This accomplishment is deemed “exceptional” by Charity Navigator.
The WJC's overall score was 95.27/100 and our all-important Accountability & Transparency score was 97.00/100. These high scores put the WJC ahead of a vast number of charities based in the United States, and its 4-STAR rating outranks our peer organizations in the American Jewish world.
In his letter to the World Jewish Congress, Charity Navigator’s President & CEO Michael A. Thatcher wrote:
