NEW YORK – World Jewish Congress President Ronald S. Lauder is pleased to announce that he has appointed three distinguished members to a newly formed Security Advisory Council (SAC).
Amb. Lauder welcomed this team, observing, “As the challenge of combating antisemitism grows unabated worldwide, we need to harness our most effective resources to prevail in this struggle. To that end, I have founded a Security Advisory Council and asked distinguished leaders in the legal and business world to assist me in these efforts.”
The SAC will advise Amb. Lauder, through the interaction of law, government and civil rights, with regard to emerging threats to the global Jewish community.
The three members are:
- Andrew Hruska – Mr. Hruska is a partner of the international law firm King & Spalding based in New York and leader of the Global Investigations practice. He is a former senior official at the U.S. Department of Justice, and a federal and state prosecutor.

Allen Vine – Mr. Vine is an international financial expert and counselor to significant investors and investment managers. Mr. Vine previously served as a senior banker at Merrill Lynch in New York and London, and was previously ranked #1 by the Institutional Investor for the Global Team.
- Brad Karp – Mr. Karp is the Chairman of the international law firm Paul Weiss based in New York. Mr. Karp is a renowned litigator, recipient of numerous awards for his legal service and public policy contributions including service on more than 35 public interest education, cultural and charitable boards.
