Anti-Semitic feeling in Europe is growing, according to a survey carried out by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). Half of respondents who took part in the survey believe that Jews are more loyal to Israel than to the countries where they live, and a third of them believe that Jews have too much influence in business and finance. The report, based on interviews with 3000 adults in six European countries (Austria, Belgium, Hungary, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom), found a general increase in negative attitudes towards Jews since a similar survey in 2005. The ADL said these attitudes showed the persistence of anti-Jewish stereotypes in Europe.
