PETA demands that US politicians return donations from kosher slaughterhouse

The radical animal rights group PETA has called on members of the US Congress to return money donated by the owners of "AgriProcessors", a kosher abattoir which is currently under investigation. The "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals" called on Senators Charles Grassley and Arlen Specter as well as Congressmen Tom Latham and Katherine Harris to return donations made to them by the Rubashkin and Balkany families. The Rubashkin family owns "AgriProcessors", the slaughtering plant in Iowa that the US Department of Agriculture is investigating following the release of a PETA-produced video that appeared to show violations of US slaughtering laws.
